We are in the heart of Veneto, 50 km from Venice, in the hills of Treviso province between the towns of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, located at equal distance from the Dolomites and the Adriatic sea.
The beauty and unicity of this landscape, whose hills appear as “hand-embroidered”, is confirmed by the willing of nominate the area for World Heritage (UNESCO).
Most of the hills are formed in the tertiary age, and are composed of clayey limestone with yellow-bluish marles and ashen and cerulean sandstones. The physico-chemical composition of these soils is the most suitable to transmit to the grapes character and fragrances, and this is shown up by the high temperature range between day and night due to the presence of the mountains.
